Here’s what you should know.

1. Majid Ghazi, MD, is the center’s medical director and lone physician. He was there when the center opened in September 2014, and when demand for its services peaked requiring an expansion just six months later.

2. Dr. Ghazi attributes the center’s success to the fact that the Center for Pain Medicine is the only independent surgery center specializing in pain medicine in North Dakota.

3. The new center has space for up to five providers. It leases the space with PT/OT Partners, a physical therapy practice.

4. The new center has one operating room with space for another, if needed.
