Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists to open surgery center

Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists, based in Myrtle Beach, S.C., plans to open a new surgery center within the next month, according to a Coastal Observer report.

The practice first began the certificate of need process for the center three years ago. Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists includes six physicians.
