Cantel Medical acquires German endoscope company for $60.8M — 3 insights

Cantel Medical closed its $60.8 million acquisition of BHT Hygienetechnik Holding, a Germany-based endoscopy reprocessing company, MassDevice reports.

1. BHT employs 100 and had sales of $24.5 million in 2016.

2. Cantel acquired BHT to grow its international presence. Through the acquisition, Cantel became the market leader in endoscope reprocessing in Germany.

3. Cantel acquired endoscopy business assets from an Australian distributor in April.
