California Physician Hopes to Turn Credit Union Into Surgery Center

A physician in Downey, Calif., has submitted a proposal to the Downey City Planning Commission to remodel a credit union building to accommodate an ambulatory surgery center, according to a report from The Downey Patriot and documentation from Downey City Planning Commission.

 

Dr. Elias Ayoub has submitted the proposal that would remodel the credit union building to allow for outpatient surgical and medical offices by adding 965 sq. ft. on the first floor of the building and 5,030 sq. ft. on the second floor.

 

The Downey City Planning Commission is scheduled to consider the proposal April 6.
