California physician group acquired by PRISM

New Providence, N.J.-based PRISM Vision Group has closed a transaction with Retina Macula Institute. 

Retina Macula Institute, founded by Ron Gallemore, MD, PhD, is an ophthalmology practice with locations in Los Angeles and South Bay, Calif., according to a May 13 news release from PRISM. 

Through the transaction, RMI will join the PRISM network of practices while preserving its physician leadership. 

PRISM supports more than 90 practices, more than 200 providers and eight ASCs, the release said.
