Burlington County Endoscopy Center partners with Virtua — 4 things to know

Lumberton, N.J.-based Burlington County Endoscopy Center is partnering with Virtua, a leading heath system in New Jersey.

Here are four things to know:

1. BCEC started as a partnership between Physicians Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Consultants of South Jersey.

2. The center's providers perform nearly 8,000 procedures annually.

3. Through its Virtua partnership, BCEC will be included in Virtua's network of outpatient centers.

4. Featuring three rooms, BCEC is Medicare-certified, state licensed, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care-accredited and is an American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center of Excellence.

"Our partnership with Virtua was a natural next step for us at our center in Lumberton. Virtua has established itself as a leader in outpatient partnerships and this joint venture relationship is a great match for our collective goals," said Bob Estes, vice president, Center Development and Implementation, Physicians Endoscopy.
