1. Founded in 2003, AHSA provides vendor management systems to 200 facilities spanning the United States.
2. AHSA President Tim Cerny will maintain his position as head of the firm.
3. In addition to its ASHA investment, BelHealth Investment Partners acquired Edmond, Okla.-based AHS Staffing, a healthcare staffing firm, in October 2016.
4. Paul Barrett, vice president of BelHealth, told Staffing Industry Analysts hospitals will increasingly adopt vendor management solutions and ASHA will therefore “continue to gain market share.”
5. Mr. Cerny said, “We have an excellent foundation in place to take advantage of the positive tailwinds supporting both the increased adoption of VMS and the strong demand for healthcare staffing.
