Here are four things to know:
1. The ASC, called Gemini III, will house two procedure rooms and four operating suites. It will have room to expand to a total of six operating rooms.
2. The surgery center will offer services including orthopedics, spine, neurology, general surgery, pain management as well as ear, nose and throat.
3. Bay Area Regional Medical Center expects to complete construction near the latter end of 2017.
4. Orthopedic surgeons as well as pain management and primary care physicians have a full lease to use Medistar’s two other campus facilities, Gemini I and Gemini II.
