However, those opposing the project sued, leading the district of Sheboygan to settle the suit. The land is currently school property, which impeded Aurora’s previous plans to build the ASC.
4. If Aurora files plans to build the facility on the property, it would require the school district’s approval. A school district spokesperson told the Sheboygan Press Aurora has not approached the school district regarding the facility.
