ASCA Releases Online Map of Medicare-Certified Surgery Centers

The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association has released a new interactive online map of Medicare-certified ASCs and general acute care hospitals in the United States.

The map can be a resource for patients and physicians considering opening an ASC or looking for new options for same-day surgery. The map includes the difference in numbers of ASCs in states with and without certificate of need legislation.
