Anchor Health Properties, Carlyle Group affiliate acquire 3 medical office buildings in Alabama

Anchor Health Properties and a Carlyle Group affiliate acquired a 207,000-square-foot portfolio of class A medical office buildings in Huntsville, Madison and Athens, Ala.

What you should know:

1. All three facilities are on Huntsville Hospital Healthcare System’s campuses in their respective town, and all provide outpatient services.

2. This is Anchor’s second acquisition in Huntsville.

3. Anchor will provide property management services at each facility through a partnership with Triad Properties.

Anchor CEO Ben Ochs said, “These institutional quality, class A assets represent the key attributes we look for — prime location with a dominant regional health system as key tenant and a long-term commitment to the buildings.”
