AmSurg acquires South Carolina ASC

Nashville, Tenn.-based AmSurg has acquired Surgery Center of Conway (S.C.), marking the organization’s fourth facility based in South Carolina. 

Surgery Center of Conway is 5,000 square feet and includes two operating rooms, according to an Oct. 28 news release from AmSurg. 

The facility, which opened in 2020, has seven physicians specializing in ophthalmic procedures. 

AmSurg operates a network of more than 250 surgery centers across the U.S., the release said.
