9 outpatient surgery centers in March 2016

Here are nine new outpatient surgery centers opening or announced last month.

Mercy Health Youngstown (Ohio) will break ground on a new outpatient ambulatory facility adjacent to the existing Howland Surgery Center in May, which will cost $14.5 million.

Hendrick Medical Center in Texas and local physicians are planning a joint venture ambulatory surgery center — Hendrick Surgery Center — which will include orthopedics, gastroenterology, podiatry, gynecology, ophthalmology, pain management and plastic surgery.

Landmark Health Facilities constructed a new medical center in Brandon, Fla., that will include an ambulatory surgery center with six operating rooms.

Wisconsin-based Aurora Health Care will open an $83 million outpatient surgery center in October.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York received approval to move forward with a 30,000-square-foot surgery center on the campus of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church that will cost $4.75 million and include 25 surgeons.

A new outpatient center in Noblesville, Ind.-based Riverview Health will include an ambulatory surgery center with urgent care, physical therapy, rehabilitation and an outpatient pharmacy.

East Coast Surgery Center in Daytona, Fla., received a building permit to construct a $3.56 million center.

Bowling Green, Ky.-based TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is building a new surgery center in Warren County which will be called Southern Kentucky Surgicenter and cost around $9.1 million.

An ambulatory surgery center will be featured in a new 280,000-square-foot facility at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. The project is expected to cost $230 million for the ambulatory care pavilion.
