8 hospitals, health systems recently announcing or opening ASCs

Here are eight hospitals that announced or opened ambulatory surgery centers within the past month.

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minn., plans to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new surgery center this week.

Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Ark., is discussing the possibility of a surgery center project. The project is estimated to cost $14.3 million. 

Indiana University Health hospital in Bloomington plans to update its hospital building and open a new outpatient surgery center.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is embarking on a $130 million expansion, which will include the $85 million Livingston Ambulatory Center. 

St. Vincent Anderson (Ind.) Regional opened the $26 million surgical pavilion Anderson Surgery Center. 

The University of Maryland Shore Regional Health and University of Maryland Medical System opened the $7 million Surgery Center at Queenstown (Md.). 

Washington (Pa.) Health System opened a new outpatient facility in South Strabane Township, Pa.
