New York Hospital Starts Construction on Surgery Center in Olean

Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital has begun construction on a new freestanding ASC on its campus.

The 22,000-square-foot surgery center will include four ORs and three endoscopy suites and is estimated to cost $10.3 million.

 

The ASC is expected to open in early 2012.

 

Olean General Hospital currently performs more than 6,000 ambulatory surgical procedures, according to a news release from the hospital.
