5 new joint venture ASCs — August/September 2018

Here are five new joint venture ASCs with updates in the past couple months:

Hartford, Conn.-based St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Hartford-based Lighthouse Surgery Holdings are partnering to build the Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center in Hartford.

Morgantown, W. Va.-based Mon Health System partnered with physicians to operate a surgery center at its new campus in Morgantown, W. Va.

Lenoir, N.C.-based Caldwell UNC Health Care and a group of eight surgeons are teaming up to build a $7.1 million orthopedic ASC in Granite Falls.

Lincoln, Neb.-based Bryan Health completed the Lincoln-based Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center earlier this year. The surgery center anchors the first floor of the center. The ASC is a joint venture between Bryan Health and 76 area physicians.

Construction is underway on the Fort Myers, Fla.-based Performance Health Surgery Center, a joint venture between Raleigh, N.C.-based Compass Surgical Partners and five surgeons.
