New Mexico’s Plains Regional Medical Center Opens Surgery Center

Plains Regional Medical Center, a 106-bed hospital in Clovis, N.M., has opened a multispecialty surgery center, according to CNJ Online.

Administrator Hoyt Skabelund said Plains Outpatient Surgery Center is equipped for general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology and podiatry.

The center also has lab and x-ray services, with new medical offices nearby for general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry and urology.

The hospital is part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, which operates seven hospitals in New Mexico.
