4 new joint venture ASCs — March 2019

Here are four joint venture ASCs opened or announced in March:

Buffalo, N.Y.-based providers Kaleida Health and Western New York Urology Associates are planning a $5 million ASC addition to Kaleida’s Harlem Road facility.

Raleigh, N.C.-based Compass Surgical Partners formed Tampa, Fla.-based Legacy Surgery Center in partnership with a group of physicians.

Albany, N.Y.-based providers Albany Medical Center, Saratoga Hospital and Capital Region North are teaming up to build an outpatient surgery center primarily devoted to joint surgeries.

Worcester, Mass.-based management services organization Reliant Medical Group plans to develop a joint venture ASC in Natick, Mass., with local physicians and Quincy, Mass.-based Shields Health Care Group.
