4 new joint-venture ASCs — July 2019

Here are four joint-venture ASCs opened or announced in July:

Worcester, Mass.-based Reliant Medical Group and Quincy, Mass.-based Shields Health Care Group plan to open Natick (Mass.) Surgery Center in 2020.

Lexington (Ky.) Surgery Center and Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates opened an ASC near UK HealthCare in Turfland, Ky.

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is considering a proposal from Wilmington Eye Surgery Center and Wilmington-based WESCP to develop a new two-room, $9.8 million ASC that could open in July 2021.

A building housing the Indianapolis-based Indiana Hand to Shoulder ASC and the practice’s headquarters has been sold in a joint venture.
