Here are three statistics on the percentage of cases performed by top physicians at ambulatory surgery centers, according to VMG Health’s ASC Intellimaker Survey 2011.

•    The top two physicians perform 28 percent of total case volume.
•    The top five physicians perform 52 percent of total case volume.
•    The top 10 physicians perform 74 percent of total case volume.
