Here are three recent hospitals and/or health systems that have opened up outpatient surgery centers.

Compass Surgical Partners in Raleigh, N.C., opened a new ambulatory surgery center in Tampa, Fla.

Elkhart (Ind.) General Hospital opened an $83 million surgery center expansion to patients.

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge opened a new surgery center.
