$3.5M New York surgery center opens — 3 insights

Western New York Medical Management opened the $3.5 million Amherst (N.Y.) Surgery Center this month after receiving approval for the project last year, NBC affiliate WGRZ reports.

1. Surgery center physicians will offer pain management, orthopedic and spine surgery procedures, among others.

2. This is Western New York Medical Management’s second location.

3. The management company also runs a pain clinic in Buffalo, N.Y.
