The new Crane Center for Ambulatory Surgery will perform procedures predominantly in orthopedics. It will also perform ophthalmology, ENT, general surgery and eventually gynecology and plastics.

The new facility replaces an older surgery center which was serving 5,500 patients annually, according to the report. The new ASC is expected to treat an additional 1,000 patients each year because of expanded space.
