Sutter Health to Break Ground on New California Surgery Center in Elk Grove

Sutter Health, based in Sacramento, Calif., is set to break ground on a new ambulatory surgery center in Elk Grove, Calif., according to a report from Glenbrooke News.

The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for May 17 and the ASC is expected to open its doors in June 2012. Sutter Health projects the surgery center to perform approximately 1,250 outpatient procedures in its first year, according to the report.

 

Sutter Health approved $10.8 million for the facility in November, according to earlier reports.
