The Batavia (N.Y.) school board has accepted a proposal from Reed Batavia Properties to turn a former school administrative building into an eye surgery center. If the bid is passed by voters in September, the deal could be finalized in October.

Physicians in Newark, Del., have proposed a two-story medical office building that would include a surgery center if approved by the New Castle County Council.

New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City has proposed plans to construct a 15-story ambulatory center.
