Here are 11 hospitals and health systems that have opened or announced plans for ASCs in September.

Phoenix-based The CORE Institute partnered with Arizona's largest health system, Banner Health, on a new orthopedic-driven ASC, Banner CORE Union Hills Surgery Center.

Bowling Green, Ky.-based TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital broke ground on TriStar Greenview Surgery Center in Bowling Green.

North Charleston officials reached a unanimous decision to support Medical University of South Carolina's new pediatric ambulatory campus in Charleston.

Tifton, Ga.-based Tift Regional Medical Center is constructing a 100,000-square-foot center in Adel, Ga., to replace the facility. The new center will have three ASC suites, 20 inpatient beds and a 95-bed nursing home.
