Missouri Health System Acquires Majority Stake in Local Surgery Center

Saint Francis Healthcare System, based Cape Girardeau, Mo., has acquired a majority interest in Physicians Alliance Surgery Center in Cape Girardeau, according to a Southeast Missourian report.

The health system will own a 51 percent interest of the ambulatory surgery center, while the remaining 49 percent interest will be shared by physicians.

 

The multi-specialty ASC provides surgical services in the following specialties, according to the ASC’s website:

  • ENT
  • General surgery
  • Gynecology
  • Ophthalmology
  • Orthopedics
  • Rentinal specialties
