The 60,000-square-foot ASC is owned by Mayfair Medical Associates. Aurora, which invested about $18.5 million in the facility, will be the sole tenant and lease the center. It will offer orthopedics, GI and other specialties, according to the report.

The new ASC is only a few miles from a competing surgery center operated by Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, according to earlier reports.
