Here are 10 hospitals and health systems that have opened or announced plans for ASCs in October.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health is close to opening a $67 million orthopedic hospital in Charlotte, N.C., that includes a built-in ASC.

New Lenox, Ill.-based Silver Cross Hospital opened its New Lenox-based Silver Cross Surgery Center.

Carle and Christie Clinic physicians broke ground on a new joint venture surgery center in Champaign, Ill., where both organizations are located.

Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Memorial Hospital broke ground on a facility with a surgery center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Bozeman (Mont.) Health is opening a new $20 million clinic with an ASC in Bozeman.

Cincinnati-based TriHealth completed construction on its new ASC in Anderson Township, Ohio.

Alexandra, Minn.-based Douglas County Hospital opened a new surgery center in Alexandra.

The Show Low City Council and Industrial Development Authority granted approval for Show Low, Ariz.-based Summit Health Regional Medical Center to move forward with a $45 million expansion project that will include a medical office building and ASC.
