StatLink Systems Acquires AccuRead Endoscopy

StatLink Systems, a process management company, has announced it has acquired AccuRead Endoscopy, according to a news release.

AccuRead Endoscopy, based in California, is a capsule endoscopy reading company. The company provides a portal for providers to upload capsule endoscopy test data from which a data/video report — specifying procedural details, passage times and images — is developed and delivered back to the sender.

AccuRead's services also include archiving each study video, thumbnails and report to an off-site server using StatLink's InfoCentral management software platform.

"We are excited about having AccuRead and capsule reading technology as part of the StatLink Systems family," said Dana Capocaccia, president and CEO of StatLink, in the release. "As a process management company with success within the health care delivery system, we're always seeking out opportunities that make sense for us as we look to grow and expand our technology within a wide variety of verticals. Capsule endoscopy reading services will continue to grow as part of health care delivery, and we wanted to utilize our software platform, InfoCentral, to capitalize on the existing potential."

StatLink Systems is headquartered in Memphis, Tenn.
