FDA Says Shortage Ends for Cancer Drug Cytarabine

The FDA said that shortages of cytarabine, a cancer drug, has been resolved, but other critical drug shortages still remain, according to a Fox Business report.

The shortage began last year when manufacturing experienced complications getting active ingredients, producing a quality product and keeping up with demand. The FDA reported 178 drug shortages last year and has said the number is even greater so far this year.
