Minneapolis-based BioDrain Medical, producer of the STREAMWAY, has signed an agreement to install 20 systems in ambulatory surgery centers across the country.
The STREAMWAY system is an automated, direct-to-drain surgical fluid disposal that reduces the risk of exposure to hazardous waste. The company signed an agreement with an organization that partners with physicians on physician-owned ASCs. The company already has a presence in 20 states and more than 120 surgical facilities.
