AmkaiSolutions AmkaiCharts Receives Ambulatory Use Certification, Entry Into CHPL

AmkaiSolutions, a provider of electronic solutions to surgical hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and practices and clinics, has announced AmkaiCharts version 3.0 has received ambulatory meaningful use certification.

The EMR solution has also been posted on the Office of the National Coordinator Certified HIT Product List (ONC-CHPL) website, according to a company news release.

AmkaiSolutions announced in April that AmkaiCharts received meaningful use inpatient certification.

"Receiving meaningful use certification is very important for our clients who are physicians and clinics, as it qualifies them for vital federal stimulus funding, and allows them to easily demonstrate compliance," said Joe Macies, AmkaiSolutions president and CEO, in the release.

AmkaiCharts was tested and certified by ICSA Labs, an Authorized Testing and Certification Body authorized to perform both complete EHR and EHR module testing and certification.

AmkaiCharts v. 3.0 has been certified for the following meaningful use criteria: 170.302(c), 170.302(f), 170.302(g), 170.302(e), 170.302(j), 170.302(d), 170.304(a), 170.302(m), 170.302(o), 170.302(t), 170.302(q), 170.302(p), 170.302(s), 170.302(u), 170.302(v), 170.302(r), 170.306(b), 170.306(a), 170.306(c), 170.306(e), 170.306(h), 170.304(a), 170.304(c)
