Accuray Launches New TomoHDA System

Accuray has announced the launch of its new TomoTherapy H series, according to a news release.

 

The series features the TomoHDA system, which includes Accuray's new TomoEDGE jaws technology designed to provide users with added flexibility in treatment delivery by sharpening dose fall off and accuracy, according to the company. It also includes VoLO technology, which is designed to be an enhancement to the TomoTherapy treatment planning system and leverage the new dose calculation algorithm and advanced graphics processing technology.

 

The TomoHDA System was unveiled at the 54th Annual American Society for Radiation Oncology meeting in Boston.

 

The TomoTherapy H series also includes the TomoH system and the TomoHD system

Levine, president and CEO of Accuray, in the release. "The new TomoTherapy H series offers treatment solutions for the entire spectrum of radiation therapy. Accuray is headquartered in Sunnyvale, Calif.
