The system saving hundreds of patients — 5 things to know about EarlySense Patient Monitoring System

EarlySense, a contact-free, health sensing and analytics provider, released its 2015 achievements.

Here are five things to know:

1. More than 84,000 patients around the globe used the EarlySense Patient Monitoring System.

2. The monitoring system prevented 483 falls and 2,070 pressure ulcers.

3. Based on clinical data, EarlySense has helped physicians in saving 27,594 hospital days and 4,323 ICU days.

4. The system also helped prevent 415 Code Blue Events and saved 332 lives.

5. In 2015, the company received regulatory clearance in South Korea and Canada, and entered into a co-marketing agreement with Herman-Miller Nemschoff.

“2015 was an extremely rewarding year for EarlySense as we doubled our installed base, thereby helping healthcare providers double the number of lives saved each year using the EarlySense System. In addition, increasing clinical evidence is showing the EarlySense System offers healthcare systems significant economic benefits,” said Avner Halperin, CEO of EarlySense.
