Texas surgery center earns 9th quality award

Physicians Ambulatory Surgery Center-New Braunfels (Texas) earned its ninth consecutive APEX Quality Award.

The award recognizes centers that have high patient satisfaction and care quality rates over a 12-month period. Center administrator Raymond Afaisen spoke highly of the award, calling it a “great source of pride for our entire organization.”

APEX ranks surgery centers in peer groupings against a set of performance indicators.
