Teaching Hospital's Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Lowers Costs, Infection Rates

Over a seven-year span, researchers found an antimicrobial stewardship program at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore helped lower antimicrobial costs and infection rates, according to a study published in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.
