Here are four highlights:
1. The recognition honors organizations that deliver a great level of patient care as well as demonstrate nursing practice excellence.
2. The hospital underwent a lengthy evaluation of patient services to receive the award.
3. The evaluation included more than 3,400 pages of written documentation of patient outcomes and evidence-based care.
4. In November, appraisers visited the site for three days.
