Professional Disposables International to Introduce Sani-Cloth Bleach Disinfecting Wipes

Professional Disposables International, a provider of infection prevention products for environmental hygiene, skin antisepsis, hand hygiene and patient care, has announced it will introduce its new Sani-Cloth EPA-Registered Bleach, a bleach-based surface disinfecting wipe, at the Association for Infection Control and Epidemiology Annual Conference.

The wipes comply with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Guideline for using a 1:10 EPA-registered bleach solution for disinfection for areas experiencing outbreaks or higher endemic rates of healthcare-associated infections, according to a news release.

The Sani-Cloth product portfolio now includes Super Sani-Cloth (for general use), Sani-Cloth AF (for general use, use around sensitive patients and on sensitive equipment) and Sani-Cloth EPA-Registered Bleach (for high-risk areas).

"Due to the evolving changes within microorganisms, facilities are now faced with significant challenges in preventing the transmission of HAIs on a daily basis," said Dr. J. Hudson Garrett Jr., director of clinical affairs for PDI, in the release. "Because of the addition of the PDI Sani-Cloth Bleach disposable wipe, PDI can now offer customers a pathogen-specific product solution that meets the CDC Guidelines for Disinfection for those most aggressive pathogens."
