Patient Safety Tool: Vascular Access Device Slides & Quiz

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality offers free slides and a quiz addressing vascular access devices through its program "On the CUSP: Stop BSI," which uses the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program to prevent central line-associated blood stream infections.

The slides present information on preventing CLABSIs, including best practices for VADs. The quiz has 21 questions to test comprehension of the VAD information presented in the slides.
