The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Institute for Quality Improvement offers a free toolkit on treating outpatient surgery patients for obstructive sleep apnea.

The "Ambulatory Surgery and Obstructive Sleep Apnea" toolkit includes guidelines for pre-, intra- and postoperative care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea, a screening tool for OSA risk and an acronym to remember the most common symptoms of OSA.
