The toolkit includes a smoke evacuation policy and procedure, surgical smoke management slideshow, awareness posters and other resources to help healthcare providers manage surgical smoke in the perioperative environment to protect patients and perioperative team members. The toolkit was funded through the AORN Foundation and supported by ConMed Electrosurgery.
