The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality offers free resources on developing a "just culture" and applying strategies of the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program.

The Apply CUSP module of the CUSP toolkit presents the principles of a just culture, a non-punitive environment that encourages reporting of adverse events. The module also summarizes key steps of the CUSP toolkit, such as engaging a team and understanding the science of safety. Tools in the module include a slide presentation, a checklist and video segments.
