Written by Anuja Vaidya | June 04, 2014 | Print  |

The CDC offers a free checklist for hospitals to ensure optimal antibiotic prescribing as well as limit overuse and misuse of antibiotics.

The checklist includes elements that have been shown to be helpful in improving antibiotic use in studies. Facilities using the checklist should involve knowledge staff in the checklist process to ensure that all the principles and actions necessary to improve antibiotic use are in place.

Download the checklist for use in your own facility.
