Mandatory Quality Reporting for Surgery Centers Begins Today

Starting today, all Medicare-certified ASCs are required to start reporting quality data G-codes as part of the new ASC quality report program, according to an ASCA report.

Surgery centers that fail to do so could face future Medicare payment reductions. Download ASCA's free Quality Reporting Toolkit, which details the timeline of important dates and events, as well as provides FAQs, a G-codes cheat sheet, information on using a safe surgery checklist and a sample CMS-1500 claim form.
