Coverys insurance awards $140k in grants to hospitals, health centers: 3 things to know

Coverys, a medical professional liability insurance provider, awarded more than $140,000 in grants to hospitals and health facilities through its Coverys Community Healthcare Foundation.

Here are three things to know:

1. Seventeen hospitals and health facilities in Washington, Oregon and Idaho received the grants.

2. Thirteen Washington hospitals and health centers, two Idaho hospitals and two Oregon health centers will receive grants.

3. The money will go toward staff training, resources and initiatives to improve patient safety and health outcomes while reducing risks.
