Consumers Union, the policy and advocacy arm of Consumer Reports, will mark the 10th anniversary of its Safe Patient Project with the “Ending Medical Harm” Conference Nov. 6 at Columbia University in New York City, according to a report in the Digital Journal.
The conference speakers and presenters will include patient safety experts from Consumers Union, investigative journalists who have reported on the problem and patients harmed by adverse medical events.
The conference will also feature discussions on the safety of medical implants, according to the report.
