1. The monitoring system allows care providers to keep an eye on patients who are at risk of falling or removing devices.
2. Using a central video monitoring camera, the system can observe up to 10 patients simultaneously.
3. The monitor provides a two-way audio system that allows providers to speak to patients.
4. AvaSys video is wireless and is rolled into patients’ rooms. A privacy screen can be activated when a patient receives care.
5. Concord Hospital has also implemented an adult patient safety plan of care, including therapeutic activities, diversional activities and alarms.
