Clorox Introduces New Non-Bleach Hospital-Use Quaternary Disinfectant Cleaner

The Clorox Co. has announced the introduction of Clorox Commercial Solutions Clorox Broad Spectrum Quaternary Disinfectant Cleaner, a non-bleach hospital-use disinfectant, according to a news release from Clorox Co.

 

The cleaner is the only quaternary spray registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to kill all of the ESKAPE pathogens (Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter species), which are responsible for two-thirds of all healthcare-associated infections, according to the release.
