CDC reports cases of Hepatitis C are rising — 4 facts

2. Brian van der Linden, MD, a gastroenterologist at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Va., states a new drug incites Hepatitis C patients to seek treatment.

3. Dr. van der Linden claims treatments including pills have a 95 to 100 percent clearance rate of Hepatitis C.

4. The rate of infection for those under 30 is highest in the following states:
